A set of four V-leg office chairs in teak, designed by Pierre Jeanneret circa 1960s and made for the Department of Chemistry, Punjab University in sector 14 of Chandigarh. Seat and back re-woven with newer cane. The chair 1 marked in back side Chm./44. The chair 2 marked in back side office Chm./51 and in top side R NO.10. The chair 3 marked in back side Chm./60. The chair 4 marked in left side Chm./68 and in back side HORT./76. Presumably this chair was initially located in the Department of Horticulture and later been moved the Department of Chemistry.
